What is this thing anyway?
We envision a forum for the expression of thoughtful and critical discourse that reaches beyond the confines of comfortable and well-worn dogma—a commitment to thinking that is, well, a bit sideways. We have no illusions about offering a wholly unique perspective, for these days there is scant new ground to be broken. We simply hope to provide a venue where ideas can be expressed textually, visually and aurally in the spirit of engaged and critical inquiry or groundless, seething invective--you know, whatever works.
